Drawing from the musical styles of Americana, rock and roll, country, and bluegrass, Escape On A Horse has established themselves as unique musical-storytellers in northern New Mexico. The band began in 2016 as a collaboration of Daniel Jaramillo, David Fellenz, Allisyn Stanfield, Andrew Stocker, and Ryan Little. The band got to work on self-producing and releasing their debut album in 2018 and it was nominated in 2019 for Best Country album by the New Mexico Music Awards. Following this nomination, David “Dog-House” Holtkamp joined the band on the mandolin and Seth Greenfield joined on bass guitar. Escape on a Horse has gained a strong following reaching broad audiences across New Mexico and into the greater American Southwest. They have shared the stage with a variety of musicians including Grant Farm, Inaiah Lujan, Liver Down the River, and national country superstar James Carothers.
